How do I connect my Samsung Galaxy Watch with Empirical?

Empirical Health connects with your Galaxy Watch through Android Health Connect and Samsung Health.

If you're not seeing your health data in Empirical, follow these steps to double check your settings:


  1. On your phone, open the Samsung Health app. If it's not installed, install Samsung Health from the Play Store.
  2. From the Settings menu, select Health Connect, then App Permissions. If Health Connect is not installed, install Health Connect from the Play Store.
  3. Within App Permissions, tap Samsung Health, then tap "allow all".
  4. Go back.
  5. Tap Empirical Health, then tap "Allow all".
  6. Within the Empirical Health app, now try refreshing your data on the today screen. Data may take a few minutes to show up the first time you connect.

You may also want to double-check that continuous heart rate monitoring is enabled.
