Where do I go for my blood draw?

Your heart health test is done at a standard outpatient lab. You don't need to visit an Empirical office.

Finding a lab near you

For most of the country, your draw happens at a Quest Diagnostics location. There are over 2,000 Quest sites nationwide, so there's usually one close by. The Empirical Health app shows the locations near you and lets you book a time.

If you live in New York or New Jersey, your draw is done at a BioReference lab instead of Quest. The app will point you to the right location automatically, so you don't need to figure this out yourself.

Walk in or book ahead

You can usually walk in, or book a same-day or next-day appointment. Booking ahead tends to mean a shorter wait.

What to bring

Bring a photo ID. Your lab order is sent to the lab electronically ahead of time, so you don't need to print anything. If the lab can't find your order, contact us in the app and we'll resend it.
