How do I connect my Fitbit or Galaxy/Pixel watch with Empirical

On Android, Empirical Health works with Fitbit and WearOS Watches (including Samsung Galaxy and Pixel Watch). Here's how to connect it:


  1. Open Empirical Health on your Android Phone
  2. On the Today tab, press the gear icon in the top left to get to "Settings"
  3. On the Settings screen, press the "Set up your account" option and go through the in-app prompts
  4. When you get to the "Connect your smartwatch or wearable" screen in the set-up flow select "Fitbit" or "Google Pixel" which will redirect you to login with your Fitbit account
